Abstract
<p class="MsoNoSpacing"><span style="font-size:12pt"><span style="font-family:Calibri,"sans-serif""><span style="color:black">Based on the idea of global education with its three standpoints: individual attributes, global attitudes, and the global education related curriculums, this research explores the general tendency of teachers college students' attitudes, the related factors influencing teachers college students in their global attitudes, and teachers college students' opinions on the current performance of global education related curriculums at teachers college and the measures taken for future improvements. Throuch an analysis of a questionnaire used to National Taipei Teachers College students, the conclusion indicates: (1) Teachers college students' global perspectives appear active and positive in their self-perceptions and global attitudes while showing no significant difference in individual attributes. (2) Teachers college students' global attitudes and their satisfaction with global education related curriculums show a low degree of correlation. The variables of individual attributes proposed in the research are by no means the main factors influencing the two. They are subject to further study. (3) In terms of teachers college students' opinions on global education related curriculums, the planning of global education core-curriculum should seek insights from the existing teachers college curriculums, setting up global education practice database and providing the teaches college students with opportunities to experience foreign cultures for themselves. And with pointed reference to the distinction in their department of study and background of learning, the teachers college students' particular interests and demands will be taken care of by accommodat made teaching contents and activities.</span></span></span></p>
