Abstract
This paper reviews published academic studies of young children’s development of scientific and numeracy concepts in the domains of biology, motion, space, time, and numeracy. Major findings are summarized. It was found that there are domain-specific effects in children’s development. Issues and problems in current research trends are discussed.
