Abstract
Over the years, concept mapping has been shown to be an effective tool to introduce or conclude the structure of instructions. However, the potential for using concept maps as an organizer for instructional materials has not been investigated in related literature. Therefore, the authors developed a web-based source-integrated concept mapping system to enable teachers to present the structure and the materials of their instructions in an integral fashion. A formative evaluation study showed that this system was rated as highly desirable by the in-service teachers.
