Abstract
The method used in this study was the case study, and the data analysis of this study was the middle-orderapproachdescribedinGrant’sstudy(Grant,2001).The researcher got the data from four kinds of interviews: interviewing college students with physical disabilities, their teachers, their classmates, and professional team members. After data analysis, the problems caused by physical disability were found in the following aspects: (1) problems in their school life caused by physical disability; (2) psychological problems caused by physical disability and psychological adjustment of these problems; (3) the difficulties in courses and teaching; (4) the difficulties in physical and health areas, and (5) the difficulties in their social interaction areas. From the point of view in resource integration, if we can’t find out the student’s problems first, the professional team members can’t provide best coping strategies for these problems. Therefore, the purpose of this case study was to investigate the problems that college students with physical disabilities faced in regular classroom. Also, the best coping strategies from the professional team members were suggested for them to deal with the problems from these five aspects .
