Abstract
The Taiwanese jewelry and metalworking industry constitutes a crucial part of traditional industries. However, facing challenges from economic transformation, social innovation, and shifts in consumer demands, the prosperity of the jewelry and metalworking industry in Taiwan is encountering various obstacles. It is worthwhile to explore visionary development solutions for the industry. This paper initially examines the development stages, major industry challenges, and transformation strategies within the context of Taiwan. Furthermore, the paper focuses on exploring social innovation models and proposes the "Circular Jewelry Brand Academy" as a social innovation model, analyzing its development framework and content. From the perspective of this social innovation model, the paper presents various considerations to overcome significant challenges and outlines development strategies that integrate diverse expertise, personnel, brands, and cooperative relationships within the jewelry and metalworking industry. Incorporating resources such as technology, transformation, innovation, and brand marketing is crucial for achieving the sustainable development of the jewelry and metalworking industry. The paper concludes with a summary and recommendations.
