Abstract
Tsu history has been a theoretical scope of Tsu knowledge in Sung dynasty; however, it was until works by Cho Chi in Ching dynasty, term of Tsu history was occasionally mentioned. The concept of Tsu history was a great achievement of Tsu in Ching dynasty, and preserving history by Tsu was the most concrete presentation leading to making contribution to the deepening of Tsu's respecting style. Nevertheless, historically, performance of Sung Tsu significantly affected the development of Ching Tsu, thus, it would be difficult to criticize Ching Tsu without realizing the trend and development of Sung Tsu. This study intends to discover the formation of Tsu history in Sung dynasty from perspectives of selection and creation, in expectation of providing complete understanding of the formation of Tsu history in Sung dynasty by collating and analyzing Tsu works.
