Abstract
Nostalgia is an abstract feeling for human beings, but it related with concrete history and place. Displacing the original space-time always evokes people the feelings of nostalgia, especially for Taiwan aboriginals. Due to the history of the Taiwan aboriginals, they had been lived in the shadow of racial discrimination. By departing from their tribes, aboriginals express their feelings of nostalgia in different ways, such as songs, paintings and literature. In the development of Taiwan aboriginal literature, there are some females start to present what they think. In their works, females reveal the home-sick feeling with the discourse of gender, marriage, and self-identity. They choose different images to describe what they memorize. Unlike males, females of Taiwan aboriginal writers have double insights, such as daughter / wife, carrier women / house wife. The writings of females would make the meanings of nostalgia more complicated. In this essay, I would ask and try to answer some questions: how could nostalgia be a metaphor in their writing? Why could nostalgia be connected with races, gender, and family? I would take ligalale‧awu, Limui‧agi, famous female writers in Taiwan for instance to investigate this point.
