Abstract
With the increasing popularity of P2P technologies and users, each peer in such network systems can get more resources and better performance compared to server-based networks. But, such superiority must have a prerequisite that each peer is willing to cooperate with others. However, in a practical situation, some of the peers may be too selfish to share resources with others, or even do some attacks to paralyze the network systems. This situation will damage the performance of the open environment of the Internet. Hence, assuring each peer to cooperate excellent by to improve the overall performance of the P2P streaming system becomes an interesting issue. In this article, the peers which cause trouble will be found and removed by running the proposed protocol. Here, each peer can collect values as evidences from others, detect the uncooperative peers by using the provided rule, and banish these peers to improve the performance of the P2P streaming network.
