Abstract
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup head capable of remarkably enhancing a movable range for an actuator for performing tracking and focusing. SOLUTION: A micro optical pickup head, equipped with a frame, a lens, a carrier, a lever and a focusing actuator, is provided. The carrier is arranged in the frame for carrying the lens. The lever has an action arm, a load arm and a support part arranged between these action arm and the load arm. Length of the load arm is longer than the length of the action arm. The load arm is connected to the carrier. The support part is fixed to the frame and used as the support part for the lever. Moreover, a focusing actuator is used for providing power to the action arm so that the carrier can move along the focus direction.
