Abstract
A method for recording and reproduction of a stereophonic sound field, which includes the steps of disposing a microphone array in the stereophonic sound field, tracking directions of a plurality of sound sources in the stereophonic sound field so as to obtain a plurality of corresponding sound signals separated from the sound sources, setting a plurality of control points within an area of the stereophonic sound field for reproduction, establishing a relation between the sound signals, the stereophonic sound field, a reproduction sound field and a reproduction sound signal based on the control points so as to obtain the reproduction sound signal from the relation, and then input the reproduction sound signal into a speaker array deposed outside the area to reproduce the stereophonic sound field within the area. Accordingly, the method of the present invention could record the sound signals accurately and do not need additional conversion process. Moreover, the method has the advantage of less distorted and a larger sweet area during the reproduction.
