Abstract
The invention discloses a low-density parity check code encoding and decoding method. The method comprises the following steps: converting a high-core rate initial check code into a check matrix with an original model pattern, extending the check matrix into an extended substrate matrix, splitting the check matrix into split substrate matrixes, separately calculating the decoding thresholds of the extended substrate matrix and the split substrate matrixes by using an external information transfer pattern of the original model pattern, selecting the matrix with a relatively low decoding threshold as a low code rate substrate matrix, and repeating the above steps until a stop condition is satisfied, unfolding the low code rate substrate matrix satisfying the stop condition to form a parity check matrix, and encoding and decoding transmitted data through the parity check matrix.
