Abstract
The present invention relates to an optical circulator, which comprises at least three ports having the output characteristic of outputting the light inputted from the nth port to the (n+1)th port, which can be applied in fiber communication of optical signal; mirrors are used for the two-core fiber collimator to become the first port and the second port of the optical circulator to reduce the volume of the optical circulator and simplify the assembly procedure; the reciprocal crystal and nonreciprocal crystal are combined to form an optical polarization controller to resolve the technical problem of the coupling angle and minimum optical polarization mode dispersion of two core fiber collimator, etc; especially the correspondence relationship between the Faraday rotator and the optical axis of birefringent crystal can be used to eliminate the half-wave plate required by general optical circulator and reduce the manufacturing cost and the complication.
