Abstract
A two-portion device for electromagnetic hyperthermia therapy includes an outer needle, and a first inner needle. The outer needle has an outer body defined an insert space. The outer body has a first magnetic-response portion, and a first nonmagnetic-response portion connected to the top portion of the first magnetic-response portion. The first magnetic-response portion is made of the material could generate heat energy in changed magnetism. The first magnetic-response portion could locate at the lesion portion precisely, and it needs only high frequency magnetism to generate heat energy to ablate the lesion. Therefore, it's easy to operate the device and the device has low cost. The device also makes small wound and pain alleviating.
