he invention provides a carpool path calculation method, a calculation device using the method and a record medium. The calculation method comprises the following steps of: deciding area ranges of primary track areas according to track points of primary track data, and sequentially classifying each track point into one of the primary track areas according to the area ranges of the primary track areas; sequentially judging whether each primary track area is intersected to a secondary track area corresponding to each piece of secondary track data or not, so as to screen at least one of the pieces of secondary track data; and calculating at least one carpool path according to the screened secondary track data, so as to provide a relatively good carpool path selection scheme. According to the method provided by the invention, a carpool relationship between the primary track and each section in the secondary track can be judged more accurately, and more relatively good carpool opportunities can be searched.
