Abstract
Method and apparatus for concurrently performing lifting lapped transform and core transform operations are introduced herein. In the method and apparatus, the lifting lapped transform and core transform operations can be adjusted according to different specifications, manufacturing rules or operation frequencies. The implementation method of hardware of the apparatus or operation thereof are using architecture of transform-level hardware sharing, and multi-port input/output buffer array, which can efficiently achieve concurrently performing lifting lapped transform and core transform operations.
