Abstract
The present invention is to provide a CMOS image sensor which can absorb the energy of incident light and convert it into electronic signals, which is a CMOS image sensor array comprises a filter plate having a pixel unit formed of plural pixel cells, and a photodiode unit formed of multiple photodiodes; the pixel cells can filter the incident light respectively and allows only the monochromatic light in a predetermined wavelength range; the photodiode operates corresponding to each pixel cell, so that each photodiode can absorb the energy of monochromatic light of different wavelengths, so as to generate different current variations to form the electronic signal.
