Abstract
This invention relates to a load-balancing switchboard with multi-staged buffer. It solves the problem of requiring internal accelerator and the generated disorder in the conventional switchboard. The load-balancing switching apparatus comprises a front-end mechanism, a central exchange mechanism, and a back-end mechanism. The front-end mechanism disperses the input plural packets and temporarily saving them in the apparatus. The central exchange mechanism connects with the front-end mechanism. It exchanges plural input packets to plural output ports of the central exchange mechanism. The back-end mechanism connects with the central exchange mechanism. It re-sorts plural packets and waits for outputting.
