Abstract
A solar cell with a selective emitter structure and a method for fabricating the same are disclosed, wherein the solar cell is made of a monocrystalline or polycrystalline and electrically doped silicon substrate. First, a plurality of trenches are formed on the light receiving surface of the silicon substrate; after doping electrical dopant element, selective etching is performed, so that the non-trench region is formed with a lower doping concentration, and the trench region is maintained with higher original doping concentration, so as to form a selective emitter structure.
