Abstract
The invention relates to a power distribution method and a base station employing the method. The method is applied to the base station which is located in a non-orthogonal multiple access NOMA systemand is used for transmitting messages to at least two pieces of user equipment. The method provided by the invention comprises the following steps of configuring that first transmission power of first user equipment is smaller than second transmission power of second user equipment, wherein the channel gain of the first user equipment is greater than that of the second user equipment; calculatinga first system capacity of the first user equipment according to the first transmission power, and calculating a second system capacity of the second user equipment according to the second transmission power; adding up the first system capacity and the second system capacity to obtain the total system capacity; and calculating the first transmission power and the second transmission power under the condition of maximizing the total system capacity.
