Abstract
A block-based digital refocusing method is disclosed. The method includes steps as follows. A capturing step is provided, which is for capturing at least one picture data. A dividing step is provided, which is for dividing the picture data into a plurality of block data. A selecting step is provided, which is for defining a regional data according to each block data. A refocusing step is provided, which is for performing a refocusing computation for obtaining a refocused block data according to each regional data. A combining step is provided, which is for combining each refocused block data to form a refocused picture data. The method employs the block-based refocusing computation for reducing the computation.
