Abstract
The present invention discloses a cooperative multimedia communication method and system. The cooperative multimedia communication system includes an information source node, a relay node, and a destination node; the information source node includes a first hierarchical type modulation constellation diagram; the information source node transmits first signals and second signals; the relay node includes a protection degree contraposition modulation unit and a second hierarchical modulation constellation diagram, wherein the modulation unit receives data demodulated from the second signals so asto generate third signals and transmits the third signals; and the destination node receives the first signals and the third signals so as to perform optimal decoding. According to the cooperative multimedia communication method and system of the present invention, a set of the optimal hierarchical modulation constellation diagrams is designed for the information source node and the relay node respectively.
