Abstract
The invention provides a filter bank multicarrier communication system based on discrete Hartley conversion, which adopts discrete Hartley conversion with real number operation to carry out multicarrier modulation/demodulation instead of the existing discrete Fourier conversion method with composite operation so as to reduce the implementation complexity or improve the system efficiency. The system may process data symbols on even and odd subcarriers, respectively, uses two prototype filters that are orthogonal to each other or approximately orthogonal to each other, to reduce inter-carrier interference and inter-symbol interference effects.
