Abstract
A method and an apparatus for rain removal based on a single image are provided. The method and the apparatus separate a single image into a high-frequency part and a low-frequency part. The method and the apparatus further separate the high-frequency image into a part with rain and a part without rain. Finally, an image without rain is generated by combining the part without rain of the high-frequency image and the low-frequency part of the original image.
