Abstract
The invention discloses a multi-carrier communication system, comprising transmitting end equipment and receiving end equipment. According to a time cycle, the transmitting end equipment processes a plurality of original symbols and transmits the processed original symbols to a plurality of subcarrier channels, and the receiving end equipment processes and detects the plurality of received symbolsfrom the plurality of subcarrier channels; in a time frame of data transmission, the first three original symbols of each of the subcarrier channels are preambles formed by the given three pilot symbols, wherein three preambles of each adjacent three subcarrier channels constitute a preamble unit, and all pilot symbols of the preamble unit are represented by a 3*3 matrix; and when the center pilot symbol of the preamble unit is normalized to 1 or j, the matrix is a formula1 or a formula 2. The invention also discloses a channel estimation method of the multi-carrier communication system.
