Abstract
The invention relates to a modification method for a carbon nano tube electrode interface thereof, which performs a three-step modification to the carbon nano tube located at the nerve electrode interface; the carboxylation process allows the surface of the carbon nano tube to have carboxyl groups and thus improves the hydrophilicity; the acyl chlorination process allows the hydroxyl group in the carboxyl group to convert into chlorine, and by means of the amination process to convert chlorine into derivatives having terminal amino groups. The impedance of the modified carbon nano tube electrode interface decreases, and the ability of nerve cells to attach on the carbon nano tube enhances. The measurement quality of the nerve signals enhances. The invention also provides a microelectrode array, wherein its carbon nano tube interface is modified by the method set forth above.
