Abstract
A method for diagnosing diseases using a stethoscope which includes at least two sound receiving units, a noise controlling unit, a processing unit, a data unit and a output unit. First, the sound receiving units acquire a plurality of sound signals including an external noise from lung. After delivering to the noise controlling unit to eliminate the external noise of the sound signals, the sound signals are enhanced by the processing unit. Then, features of sound signals are extracted and compared with sound information of diseases stored in the data unit. Finally, a result of disease is generated by the output unit. According to the method, the stethoscope could achieve effect of automatic judgment of disease. The method not only decreases the mistakes of diagnosis made by human, but also enables the patients to have a preliminary diagnosis without doctor.
