Abstract
The present invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions for inhibiting inflammation or growth of tumor cells, and uses of Au nanoparticles. The pharmaceutical composition for inhibiting inflammation, which is resulted from the excessive generation of cytokines, comprises: an effective amount of Au nanoparticles, wherein the particle size of the An nanoparticles is 2.5-40 nm; and at least one selected from the group consisting of pharmaceutically acceptable solvents, carriers, excipients, adjuvants, and salts thereof.
