Abstract
An apparatus for manufacturing dichlorohydrin, which is suitable for generating dichlorohydrin through performing a reaction of glycerol and hydrogen chloride solution in an environment having catalyst. The apparatus for manufacturing dichlorohydrin comprises at least one reactor, a first distillation column, a first decanter and a first water supply device. The first distillation column is connected to the at least one reactor, and the first distillation column comprises a first side-draw outlet, to take out a first side-draw product. The first side-draw product comprises water with purity of 85 wt%~100 wt%. The first decanter is connected to a top portion of the first distillation column, to form a first aqueous product and a first organic product comprising dichlorohydrin in the first decanter. The first water supply device is directly connected to the first decanter.
