Abstract
The invention discloses a boost type converter including a main switch connected to an input voltage and connecting a clamped circuit. The circuit stops a transmission according to on-off of the main switch, and a clamped capacitor is used to store an energy volume of a main inductive current so that main switch is controlled in the operation of zero voltage transmission (ZVT); the energy volume of the clamped capacitor is transmitted to a buffer capacitor through a flyback active buffer circuit while an auxiliary switch cuts-off. Another inductance is connected to the main switch, the clamped circuit, the input voltage, a main diode and the buffer circuit. A reverse recovery circuit of the main diode is restrained to control the main switch in the operation of zero current transmission (ZCT) while the main switch transmits. The invention utilizes a soft switching of zero voltage and zero current to enhance a transmission efficiency of the whole device.
