Abstract
The present invention relates to a chip-type continuous sample input and flow guiding system. The system controls the flowing speed of the sheath flow at two sides of the sample to pre-focus micro samples into a sample flow with a width of several micrometers. Based on a valve-less flow switch formed by the combination of different flowing speeds between the sheath flow and the sample flow, one or more micro sample is precisely guided to at least one outlet slot rapidly and continuously as a sample to be separated and detected subsequently.
