Abstract
A diagnostic specimen comprises: a substrate having a calligraphy paper-based material, wherein the substrate comprises a wax pattern layer, which is a part of surface of the substrate coated by a waxy material, and the wax pattern layer contains one or more carrying units used for carrying one or more droplets of liquid to be measured. The lotus effect makes the liquids to be measured and agents on the carrying units hardly diffused, and thus reduces the required amount of liquid to be measured and the amount of agent.
