Abstract

A sensor-free bass compensation system includes a bi-layer hybrid control architecture having a feed-forward control device and a feedback control device as well as a volume velocity estimation device of acoustic source. The volume velocity estimation device of acoustic source employs a dynamic equation and the linear quadratic Gaussian theorem to obtain a sensor-free volume velocity estimation device of acoustic source. The feed-forward control device is mounted on a digital signal processor, and a feedback control device is designed with the quantitative feedback technique and is mounted on an analog circuit for enhancing the robust stability while a speaker is operating. Besides, the system of the present invention possesses the capability of automatic modeling and synthetic filter, thereby achieving the reduction of operating frequency of speaker, correct low-frequency loudness in different room and the suppression of parametric drift arising from long working hours.
