Abstract
Disclosed herein are a biomolecular transport system and its biomolecular transport method, wherein a magnetic bead is controlled by an optically generated magnetic field in order to be combined with bio-molecules. The transport system includes a chip having a photoconductive layer, a projecting device, a power supply device connected with the chip. The transport method mainly uses the projecting device to generate an optical pattern and projects it onto the chip so as to form a virtual electrode. When exposed to light, the photoconductive layer on the chip becomes conductive and forms current to induce a magnetic field for attracting the magnetic bead. By modulating the projecting device, the optical pattern can be continuously moved along the chip to force the magnetic bead and bio-molecules to move. The present invention is characterized in using a defined optical pattern, projecting the optical pattern onto the chip, continuously moving the optical pattern so as to achieve advantages of fast transporting and locating bio-molecules at will.
