Abstract
A biomedical diagnostic device includes a hydrophilic layer, a hydrophobic layer, and at least one test pad. The hydrophilic layer includes an exposed introducing portion adapted for introducing a test fluid and is stacked with the hydrophobic layer having a plurality of access holes. The at least one test pad, each of which includes a distinguishing reaction medium, are disposed in corresponding holes extending to contact with the hydrophilic layer. In the device the relation is followed: hydrophilicity of any of the test pads > hydrophilicity of the hydrophilic layer > hydrophilicity of the hydrophobic layer.
