Abstract
A decoding device for non-binary QC-LDPC codes obeys a constraint condition h'v'+h''v'' = hv and comprises a first barrel-shifter, a routing network and a second barrel-shifter. The first barrel-shifter uses the constraint condition h'v'+h''v'' = hv to shift j0 positions of a set of input elements and generates a set of first temporary elements. The routing network uses the v' of the constraint condition to judge whether reorders the first temporary elements to generate a set of second temporary elements. The second barrel-shifter uses the constraint condition h'v'+h''v'' = hv to shift i0 positions ot second temporary elements. A decoding method for non-binary QC-LDPC codes is also disclosed.
