Abstract
The invention provides a manufacturing method and a manufacturing apparatus of propylene carbonate and dimethyl carbonate. The manufacturing method of the propylene carbonate comprises the following steps of making urea and excessive propanediol enter a first part of a distillation system so that the urea and the propanediol react in the first part and reaction products are separated for forming afirst product which comprises ammonia and a second product that comprises the propanediol and the propylene carbonate; making the second product into a second part of the distillation system for separating the second product and forming a third product that comprises the propanediol and a fourth product that comprises the propylene carbonate. The first part and the second part are two distillation towers which are interconnected. Therefore, the manufacturing method of the propylene carbonate, the manufacturing apparatus of the propylene carbonate, the manufacturing method of the dimethyl carbonate and the manufacturing apparatus of the dimethyl carbonate have relatively high product conversion rate and relatively low manufacturing cost.
