Abstract
Manufacturing methods and manufacturing apparatuses of propylene carbonate and dimethyl carbonate are provided. The manufacturing method of propylene carbonate includes the following steps. Urea and excess propylene glycol are fed into a first portion of a distillation system, such that urea and propylene glycol perform a reaction, and are separated to form a first product including ammonia and a second product including propylene glycol and propylene carbonate. The second product are fed into a second portion of the distillation system, such that the second product are separated to form a third product including propylene glycol and a fourth product including propylene carbonate. The first portion and the second portion are two distillation columns connected with each other.
