Abstract
A sperm quality assessment device includes a main frame, and a test pad. The test pad is encircled by the main frame and includes an exposed introductory portion. The test pad has greater hydrophilicity than the main frame and has an MTT reagent distributed therein. Therefore, activity pattern of the dyed motile sperms can be utilized to estimate sperm quality such as mobility. The present device in particular has the merits of adopting paper material to reduce manufacture cost and is also easy to use.
