Abstract
The present invention provides a variable voltage scheduling method for system components. The system includes a plurality components with adjustable voltage level. Before executing a program, a plurality of parallel windows is determined. Then, the utility rate of each parallel window corresponding to each voltage-adjustable component is determined, thereby obtaining a utility rate ratio. Next, the parallel windows are combined by using the similarity of the utility rate ratio and the ratio of the window size. Finally, the voltage level of each voltage-adjustable component is assigned based on the utility rate ratio of each parallel window, and an optimization is also performed.
