Abstract
The invention relates to a gene expression interference system ofSynechococcus elongatesPCC 7942. The gene expression interference system of theS. elongatesPCC 7942 includes aS. elongatesPCC 7942 cell, a dCas9 expression plasmid and a sgRNA plasmid. The invention also relates to a method for interfering a gene expression of theS. elongatesPCC 7942. The method includes constructing the dCas9 expression plasmid and the sgRNA plasmid respectively, transforming the dCas9 expression plasmid and the sgRNA plasmid into theS. elongatesPCC 7942 cell to obtain a second transformant, culturing the second transformant and adding an inducer to inhibit an expression of a target gene. Therefore, it is favorable for stably and effectively suppressing the expression of the target gene for a long time.
