Abstract
The present invention discloses a network reliability computing method and its system for solving the problems of network design and performance evaluation. The network reliability computing method includes the following steps: first, setting a counting value (I) to be 2 and setting a starting point as a first order node so as to compute a first order node universal generating function and a first order sub-network universal generating function; next, setting a node v as an I-th order node so as to compute an I-th order node universal generating function; then computing an I-th order sub-network universal generating function based on the I-th order node universal generating function and (I-1)-th order sub-network universal generating function, and simplifying the same; determining whether the counting value (I) is smaller than the total number of nodes that are not target points and, if no, computing reliability coefficients respectively based on the I-th order sub-network universal generating function; and finally, computing reliability functions reaching a set of target points respectively based on a set of target points and the reliability coefficients and proceeding computation of network reliability based on the reliability functions.
