Abstract
This invention discloses a network reliability calculation system and its method, for solving the network design and performance evaluation problems. The network reliability calculation method includes the following steps: calculate the corresponding D-minimal cuts according to the edge minimal capacity of the network and save it in the solution sets; find the corresponding possible solution according to the minimal cuts of the network, which is performed with verification operation to generate candidate set; if the candidate set is not generated from the minimal cuts taken out the first time, then take out the D-minimal cuts candidate successively form the candidate set for calculating the edge set. The edge set is composed of all edges of the D-minimal cuts candidates that do not reach the upper limit of the flow. If the edge set is not a subset of other set of minimal cuts that has been taken out, then the D-minimal cuts candidate is saved in the solution set. The network reliability is then calculated according to the solution set, which can be used as the basis of the network design and analysis.
