Abstract
The invention provides a gene expression regulation system for synechococcus elongates PCC 7942. The gene expression regulation system comprises synechococcus elongates PCC 7942 cells, a gene expression interference unit and a gene editing unit. The invention also provides a method for regulating the expression of the synechococcus elongates PCC 7942 genes. The method comprises the following steps: providing synechococcus elongates PCC 7942 cells, embedding exogenous genes into the synechococcus elongates PCC 7942 cells by utilizing the gene editing unit, and inhibiting the expression of a target gene by utilizing the gene expression interference unit. Therefore, the metabolism path of the synechococcus elongates PCC 7942 can be comprehensively regulated, and the yield of the target product is optimized.
