Abstract

A high temperature resistant alloy with low contents of Co and Ni having a face-centered cubic (FCC) crystal structure formed by selecting a proper combination of elements using the design of multiple alloy, which is characterized by excellent ability of deformation, toughness and high-temp strength. Such alloys are so configured that 5 to 7 principal elements are included based on Co, Cr, Fe, and Ni and incorporating at least one of Al, Mo and Ti therein, wherein Co and Ni each has an atomic percentage between 20% and 35%, Cr and Fe each has an atomic percentage between 12.5% and 20%, and the sum of the atomic percentage of Co, Ni, Cr, Fe is no less than 65%, while the sum of the atomic percentage of Al, Mo and Ti lies between 5% and 25%. Further, the property of the alloys can be improved by incorporating sub elements such as Ag, B, C, Cu, Mn, Nb, Ta, Si, V, W, Y, Zr with the sum of the atomic percentage thereof no more than 10%.
