Abstract
The invention discloses a self-adsorbing catalyst composition and a preparation method thereof, and a method for producing an electroplating-free substrate. The self-adsorbing catalyst composition comprises a colloidal nanoparticle cluster and a silane compound, wherein the colloidal nanoparticle cluster comprises palladium nanoparticles and a protection agent coating the palladium nanoparticles,and the silane compound at least has an amine group, and interacts with the colloidal nanoparticle cluster through the amine group. According to the present invention, the self-adsorbing catalyst composition is easy to prepare; and by using the self-adsorbing catalyst composition, the electroplating-free substrate can be produced by using the environmentally-friendly and simple manufacturing method, and the excellent adhesion between the electroplating-free metal layer and the substrate can be ensured.
