Abstract
The present invention relates to method for detection of touch points in touch panel, comprising the steps of: obtaining reference values by pre-filtration of each touch sensor's detected value; determining a screen-touch operation, if difference of detected value of a sensor is greater and corresponding reference value exceeds a threshold at first time point; detecting first candidate touch point with the greatest difference value; detecting second candidate touch point with the greatest difference value at second time point; and determining a valid touch point, if distance between first candidate and second candidate is smaller than a predetermined value. The method may further comprising detecting a plurality of first and second candidates in the plurality of predetermined areas.
