Abstract
The present invention discloses an adaptive audio control device and its method, wherein according to signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of background noise, proper signal gain is provided to the original signal, while the present invention can be used in car audio, communication industry or audio-video entertainment. The adaptive audio control device mainly combines a noise level estimation device, a SNR device, a dynamic range control device and a smoothing device, and in combination with a least-mean-square (LMS) algorithm, it can adjust signal gain and maintain stable SNR according to the signal and SNR of background noise, particularly suitable for use in vehicle environment.
