Abstract
This invention discloses a method for performing ductile working of diamond-like materials, comprising the steps of: providing heat energy for heating the diamond-like material and then applying a force to the diamond-like material whereby ductile working is performed on the diamond-like material by the heating and force application. The process for performing the ductile working to a diamond film includes the steps of: heating a diamond film with heat energy and grinding the heated diamond-like material with a grinding machine whereby ductile working is performed on the diamond-like material by the heating step and by calculating the depth (or pressure) threshold of the grinding emery.
