Abstract
A therapy apparatus for hyperthermia therapy includes a needle assembly for insertion into a tissue body and a temperature sensor mounted on the needle assembly. The needle assembly includes a mounting seat and a plurality of needles inserted in the mounting seat and capable of being heated through an electromagnetic energy apparatus. The mounting seat is color changeable in accordance with the temperatures of the needles. The temperature outputs a sensing signal to the electromagnetic energy apparatus based on the temperature changes of the needles. With the designs of the needle assembly and the mounting seat, the therapy apparatus of this invention is capable of coagulating blood vessel through burning to prevent it from bleeding during surgical removal of an organ, of conveniently determining the temperature change of the needle assembly, and of considerably improving the surgical safety.
