Abstract
The present invention provides a method for fabricating small-scale, curved, polymeric structures. Firstly, photocurable PDMS droplets are placed on a flexible material with the desired patterns created by using either ink or wax, wherein the flexible material includes paper or plastic film. Then, these photocurable PDMS droplets are activated with an UV-light, in order to make a small-scale polymeric mold. Next, polymeric curved structures at the millimeter scale are obtained through casting and curing thermocurable PDMS on the mold.
